- Cancer Legal Resource Center
- The Cancer Legal Resource Center (CLRC) is a community-based joint program of the Disability Rights Legal Center and Loyola Law School (California). The CLRC provides information and education on a broad range of cancer-related legal issues, including health insurance, employment, government benefits, estate planning, advance health care directives, family law and financial assistance.
- Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
- CMS administers Medicare and works with state governments to administer Medicaid and State Children’s Health Insurance Programs. The CMS web site provides details about these programs, laws of interest, eligibility requirements and resources.
- Childhood Cancer Ombudsman Program
- The Childhood Cancer Ombudsman Program provides complaint investigation and resolution for families of children with cancer and adult survivors of childhood cancer. Inquiries should be directed to the Childhood Brain Tumor Foundation.
- Disability Rights Legal Center
- The mission of the Disability Rights Legal Center (DRLC) is to promote the rights of people with disabilities and the public interest in and awareness of those rights by providing legal and related services. The DRLC offers several programs including the Cancer Legal Resource Center, Disability Mediation Center and Education Advocacy Project.
- Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)
- This commission is responsible for enforcing laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act. The web site provides information on legal protections, how to make claims, and compliance.

- Pro Bono Counseling Project
- The mission of the Pro Bono Counseling Project is to assure that all Maryland residents requesting mental health care, regardless of income, are linked with volunteer licensed mental health professional and other necessary supportive services. The Jean Steirn Cancer Program links those with cancer throughout Maryland and their loved ones with licensed mental health professionals who are donating their services.

- The OCR serves student populations facing discrimination and enforces several Federal civil rights laws that prohibit discrimination in programs or activities including the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Rehabilitation Act.
