Rise to Action - DC

Rise to Action - DC ’08 was a huge success, with over 130 people in attendance for a Saturday evening reception, Sunday workshop, and a Monday Survivors’ Lobby Day on Capitol Hill (the first of its kind for CCCA!) Our discussions about the importance of advocacy at the conference were put into action the following day when survivors took their stories to Congress and met with 20 different offices about important legislation!

Attendees of RTA-DC heard from doctors, professionals, and advocates about important issues ranging from fertility concerns to health insurance and more.  Thank you for helping to make this conference such a huge success!
