Elizabeth brings years of legislative and regulatory experience on Capitol Hill.<br><strong><br></strong><strong><br></strong></li>        <li><strong>Jennifer Niedermeyer</strong></li><li>After her nephew was diagnosed with cancer, Jennifer has since been a committed and active pediatric cancer advocate. She was formerly Director of Development at a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing information and support to brain tumor patients, families and healthcare professionals.</li><li><strong><b><br></b></strong></li>    <li><strong>Leonard Rosen, LLB</strong> <span class="affiliation">Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen &amp; Katz</span></li><li>Leonard has a distinguished career as an attorney and founding partner of one of New York City’s most respected law firms. Since his family was touched by cancer, including childhood cancer, he has become deeply involved in cancer patient advocacy.</li><li>&nbsp;</li>  <li><strong>Susan Scherr, <em>Board</em>&nbsp;<em><strong style="display: inline !important; ">Secretary</strong></em></strong></li><li>A Certified Public Accountant and former financial analyst with HarperCollins Publishers, Susan is a stay-at-home mother of four children. Susan’s son was treated successfully for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2001.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Beth Silber</strong></p><p>Beth currently serves as a part-time parent advocate for the Mt Sinai pediatric oncology clinic. Previously, she worked as a marketing and strategic planner for Pfizer Inc.  Beth’s son, a cancer survivor, finished his Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia treatment successfully in 2007.</p><ul class="peoplelist"><li>&nbsp;</li>  <li><strong>Steve Shak, MD</strong> <span class="affiliation">Genomic Health, Inc.</span></li><li><p class="MsoPlainText">Steve founded a forward-looking company to bring the benefits of genomic technology to cancer research and cancer care. As a pioneer in breast cancer patient advocacy, Steve brings the dual expertise of family experience with childhood cancer and oncology drug and diagnostic development.</p></li><li><p class="MsoPlainText">&nbsp;</p></li><li><p class="MsoPlainText"><strong>Cyndi Speight<br></strong><em>Department of Defense, Health Affairs</em></p></li>  </ul><p>After 8-year-old daughter Lexi died from liver cancer in 2010, Cyndi became an advocate for childhood cancer. She worked with the hospital where Lexi was treated to improve their process for helping families deal with cancer. As the Director of Program Integration for the Defense Department's Health Affairs office, Cyndi has extensive experience with health-related legislative issues.
